The team at 4Health Home Care explain what makes the agency’s services unique
4HEALTH Home Care is a Jersey-based agency which has an excellent track record of caring for people with disabilities but who wish to stay in their own home.
The delivery of excellent care to our clients by our well-trained staff is at the bedrock of 4Health Home Care Agency’s service.
Supported by a manager with extensive health care experience in both the primary and secondary care sector in Jersey, 4Health Home Care is the only private home care agency in Jersey which has registered nurses who work clinically in the clients’ homes and oversee the care delivered by the carers.
This ensures that clients receive support from some of the Island’s most qualified and experienced staff.
The agency has safe recruitment processes in place to ensure we employ people who are reliable, trustworthy and have empathy, compassion and, above all, the dedication and kindness required to work with vulnerable people.
All carers go through a continuous training programme, which includes formal classroom and online training programmes. They also complete nationally recognised vocational training programmes, while also receiving cookery lessons from our qualified chef.
It is well known that most people do not want to move into a care home if they can stay safe in their own home instead. 4Health Home Care Agency encourages everyone to read the Jersey Care Commission Report into the services it offers, so that anyone considering home care can see that we provide a service in which can have people.
The feedback from our clients proves that the staff put the wellbeing of the clients at the heart of everything we do. As one client says: “They are so professional, caring and gentle, and they have made a huge difference to all our lives.”
If people think they may need help, 4Health will arrange a free consultation with one of our registered nurses to discuss a package of care that is tailored to meet your individual needs.
This may include anything from half-hourly visits up to 24/7 care or live-in care for adults who require support for a variety of needs.
They may, for example, require assistance with domestic help, social or personal care, sleeping and waking night care, rehabilitation and mobility concerns or medication support. Alternatively, they may have dementia or learning disabilities or have more complex needs, perhaps requiring end-of-life care.
Whatever the person’s medical needs, they all have a right to independence, life choices, respect, privacy and dignity.
