Hopes for new events as Jersey Live ends

Organisers Warren Holt and Warren Le Sueur cancelled the event – as well as Folklore Festival – saying that they wished to work separately on new projects.

Economic Development Minister Lyndon Farnham said that he had ‘great memories of the festival’ and that it was a ‘massive shame’ that the event would no longer be running.

He added that he hoped some ‘new and exciting events would emerge’.

Islanders have reacted with shock and disappointment at the loss of the festival. Hundreds of comments have been left online following the news, with many saying that they were going to miss the event, which had grown to become the biggest music festival in the Channel Islands.
