The 18-year-old driver is in a critical but stable condition at the neurological intensive care unit at Southampton General Hospital.
Another 18-year-old remains in a stable and comfortable condition in Jersey’s General Hospital, while two other passengers, aged 18 and 17, were both discharged on Monday and are recovering at home.
Tim Silvester, assistant headteacher at De La Salle, said: ‘The thoughts and prayers of the whole De La Salle community are with all four students and their families. With God’s grace they will make a complete recovery and be back with us soon.’
