Currently, renewing or replacing a lost driving licence costs £40. However, Infrastructure Minister Eddie Noel has agreed to a request from the Constables’ Committee to raise the price for a full ten-year licence to £50.
The charge for a six-month provisional licence will also rise from £15 to £20. It is the first time that prices have risen since 2007.
