Break-ups the main issue for Citizens Advice

According to its annual report, Jersey Citizens Advice – previously known as the Citizens Advice Bureau – dealt with nearly 8,000 issues in 2015. Of these, 1,633 related to advice being sought for relationships.

Malcolm Ferey, chief executive of the Jersey branch of the organisation, said that many people do not realise how big an issue break-ups were, despite the fact that the figures had remained largely unchanged from the previous year.
