Escort smuggled drugs into Jersey in Kinder Egg case

On 12 April Felicia Ang was found in possession of a small amount of cocaine and £200 worth of MDMA after being stopped by Customs officers at the Airport.

The Magistrate’s Court heard on Wednesday that the 33-year-old had carried the drugs inside a small plastic case normally used to hold toys in Kinder Surprise chocolate eggs.

Ang later told officers she worked as an escort, but she did not have any clients booked in Jersey.

Police legal adviser Lawrence O’Donnell, prosecuting, said there was ‘no benefit’ in the defendant remaining in Jersey and that she had enough money to pay for her return to Singapore.

Ang, who pleaded guilty to two counts of importing class A drugs, told the court that she was sorry for what she had done and was bound over to leave the Island for three years.
