Three fire engines attended the blaze at around 1.15 pm on Friday. Two firefighters entered the bungalow to dampen the flames.
No-one was injured in th eincident but the house was heavily damaged by smoke and fire. The cause of the fire is unknown but it is not believed to have been suspicious.
