The Jersey RFC Juniors product left St Peter in 2014 after forcing his way into the first XV at just 18 years of age, but with his studies almost complete the focus has reverted back to full-time rugby. He has signed a two-year deal with Harvey Biljon’s men.
Voss (21) has helped guide Hartpury up to second in National One this term, and as he eagerly awaits a move home sights are now set on continued progression.
However, with fellow Island products Jack Burroughs and Ed Dawson released by Biljon last week Voss has been quick to distance himself from the ‘home-boy’ tag – saying the motive for his return is purely rugby related.
‘It’s a massive opportunity to come back to the Island, but I haven’t signed as a Jersey boy returning,’ he said.
