At around 9.55 am on Saturday, the Coastguard, police and paramedics were called to the scene where it was confirmed that the man had died.
His family have been notified but no further details will be released until the body has been formally identified.
The death is being treated as unexplained and a file is being prepared for the Deputy Viscount.
Police inquiries are continuing.
