It was announced last week that the empty building is to be occupied throughout December by clothes retailer USC, which is owned by Sports Direct.
The store, which is due to open on 9 December, will take space in the disused building during the festive period and will stock brands including G-Star, Levis, DKNY, Jack & Jones, Lacoste, Vans, Converse and Calvin Klein. A spokesman for USC said: ‘We are delighted to be opening our new store in Jersey. We are really looking forward to welcoming customers to the USC experience.’
The company has not provided any further information on whether the USC store in King Street will be temporary or permanent. However, a previous statement said that further plans for the site would be announced in the new year.
