Privileges and Procedures Committee Chairman Len Norman said that he would investigate whether a survey should be carried out into the poor turnout, which saw just 20 per cent of the electorate go to the polls last Wednesday.
However, questioned whether those who didn’t vote would subsequently take part in a survey.
Responding to a question from St Brelade Deputy Montfort Tadier, Mr Norman praised the States Greffier for the amount of information that was made available to the public ahead of the election but admitted the poor turnout was a ‘concern’.
