The pair launched the project, called 12, last month by creating Giant Coloured Pencils on the beach below Big Vern’s restaurant in St Ouen’s Bay, and on Sunday created their second piece, Memorial, at L’Etacq in St Ouen.
The idea is that most of the 12 pieces will not last particularly long – the first two were both destroyed the same day they were made – although photographs will be taken of them all which may be turned into a calendar next year.
