The Diamond Chinese Restaurant in Halkett Place has served Islanders for 35 years, but owner Kevin Lau says that the business is no longer viable.
Mr Lau said that the recession, staffing issues and the death of his business partner had put a strain on the restaurant, leading to his decision to wind down the establishment after more than three decades of trading.
