It is the fifth consecutive day of disruption for air travellers since the eruption in Iceland last week.

The ash poses a danger to jet aircraft, but inter-island flights can operate safely and are running as normal.

Since Thursday, the national newspapers have been brought to the Island by sea and delivered a day late. Sunday’s papers are in the shops today.
