The girls lost 3-0 to Mallorca, but put up a good fight. Octavia Lamb lost 1-6, 4-6 in the singles and Audrey Bois lost 0-6, 6-4 and then on a tie-break decider, 4-10. Octavia and Alyssia Johnson lost in the doubles.

The Jersey team, who are competing against 18 other islands in swimming, gymnastics, athletics, tennis, table tennis and sailing, are being sponsored this year by Lloyds TSB Offshore.
