The youths, aged between 13 and 16, and dressed in white boiler suits, attacked a 36-year-old man outside City Bar in Burrard Street just before midnight. The victim was rushed to hospital with severe head and body injuries and his two front teeth were knocked out after being punched to the ground and kicked repeatedly while on the floor. Police say the man was outside the bar in Burrard Street at around 11.45 pm on Saturday when he was approached by three youths in their early-to-mid-teens and asked for a cigarette. An argument broke out and he was punched to the floor, and then apparently kicked and punched again before the youths ran off. The attack is similar to one depicted in the film Clockwork Orange where a group of white boiler-suited men engage in brutal random attacks.
