A WITNESS appeal has been issued after a dog bit a woman while she was walking along a road.
The dog, believed to be a black Labrador cross which was being walked on a lead, bit the woman on the wrist in Grande Route de la Côte in St Clement.
The man walking the dog is thought to be in his early 50s, and is about 5ft 7ins tall, with balding hair.
He was wearing glasses and light-coloured clothes. The dog was wearing a red harness.
Anyone with information about the incident, which happened between 6.15pm and 6.30pm on Friday 6 May, is being asked to phone the States police on 612612 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
