A man has appeared in court charged with four counts of attempted murder after a shooting which left a nine-year-old girl seriously injured, the Metropolitan Police said.
The girl was eating dinner with her family at a restaurant in Kingsland High Street, in Dalston, east London, on May 29, when a lone motorcyclist fired shots towards the building.
Police said she remains in hospital in a stable condition but, last month, her parents said she may never “speak or move properly” again.

He was arrested on Friday after a vehicle stop on Chelsea Embankment, police said.
A 35-year-old woman who was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and assisting an offender has been released on police bail.
