MOUNT Bingham is due to be closed from Wednesday morning while resurfacing takes place.
Traffic will be diverted along South Hill.
It follows work on Green Street, which was due to finish on Tuesday.
The government said: “During the work at Mount Bingham, a ‘tidal system’ will be run on weekdays on South Hill.
“Traffic coming from Havre des Pas will be diverted northbound, along South Hill towards Pier Road, between 6am and 10am during the busy morning period, helping Islanders get to Pier Road Car Park.
“South Hill will then return to its usual southbound direction towards Havre des Pas for the rest of each weekday.
“Mount Bingham will be closed around the clock from Wednesday morning, with the resurfacing likely to take around a week to complete.
“Work in the area will continue through this coming weekend, with diversions in place.”
