CHIEF Minister-designate Lyndon Farnham has revealed his choices for the new Council of Ministers.
The Deputy is planning to overhaul the team, putting forward just a small number of existing ministers.
Other States Members can, however, put themselves forward for the positions.
The States will meet tomorrow (Tuesday) to elect the ministers.
His choices are:
Deputy Chief Minister: Deputy Tom Binet
External Relations: Deputy Ian Gorst
Health: Deputy Tom Binet
Infrastructure: Constable Andy Jehan
Treasury: Deputy Elaine Millar
Social Security: Deputy Lyndsay Feltham
Home Affairs: Deputy Mary Le Hegerat
Housing: Deputy Sam Mézec
Children and Education: Constable Richard Vibert
Economic Development: Deputy Kirsten Morel
Environment: Deputy Steve Luce
International Development: Deputy Carolyn Labey
Deputy Farnham is also planning to replace the current role of Children and Education MInister with two new ministries: Minister for Education and Lifelong Learning and a Minister for Children.
This will require an Order to be drafted under Article 29A of the States of Jersey Law 2005.
In the meantime, Constable Richard Vibert will be nominated to the existing role of Children and Education Minister, and as soon as the Order is given effect, Deputy Robert Ward will be nominated as Minister for Education and Lifelong Learning.
