LE SAIE played host to Jersey Motorcycle & Light Car Club’s thrilling trials season opener.
In freezing, but still and dry conditions on the north coast, 16-year-old Tom Le Breton had a day to remember.
The teenager secured the Expert class ahead of Josh Troy. Victory was his first adult expert win and the SW Trials & Enduro team rider is one to watch out for in the 2024 season.
Danny Lowe sealed Clubman Expert honours, while Clubman top step went to Vince Lees-Baker, who was hard-pressed by runner-up Matt Rayson, just four points adrift of Lees-Baker.
The highly experienced Terry Gibaut dominated in the ultra competitive Novice plus class, while Novice class was won by Javier Garcia Marquez, five points clear of Elliot Brown in second.
Richard Blandin on the Bultaco was successful in the Twinshock section.
Meanwhile, in the Junior bracket, Youth B went to Archie Langlois, while challenging tougher B+ route was won by a mere two marks by Kerry Knowles, who fended off a strong challenge from second-placed James Lees-Baker.
