A MAN has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon following a knife incident on Wellington Park Estate in St Saviour.
Robert Adrian Canavan (29) was one of two men who were hospitalised for knife injuries, with both arrested on suspicion of grave and criminal assault, ‘and other offences’.
Mr Canavan has now been charged with grave and criminal assault, affray and possession of an offensive weapon.
He has been remanded in custody while police investigations continue.
The men – who are believed to be known to each other – required surgery following the incident, which took place on the estate on Sunday evening.
