STATES Police have named the father and son who were killed in a road traffic collision in Grouville on Saturday night.
The two victims were named as 48-year-old Dean Richard Lowe and 11-year-old Charlie Lowe.
They had been walking on Rue de Fauvic towards St Clement’s Church when they were struck by a vehicle.
They were taken to the Emergency Department, where they died from their injuries.
A 28-year-old man, arrested for causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop and report an RTC, remains in custody.
‘Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Dean and Charlie and we offer our sincere condolences to them at this very sad time,’ a States Police spokesperson said.
States Police are continuing to appeal for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage filmed around Rue de Fauvic between 9pm and 9.40pm on Saturday 5 August.
