THANKS to the abundance of fallen chestnuts and acorns at the moment, red squirrels seem to be everywhere.

You can’t walk down a country lane without seeing one of the pretty little creatures scampering along an embankment or scurrying up a tree.

But there is one Islander who has got closer to our red squirrels than most – photographer Susan Warn.

Over the years she has taken hundreds of pictures of the creatures, often in amusing positions.
