A MAN has been convicted of attempted murder after stabbing a pub-goer at a St Helier bar.
Paul Anthony Hadikin was unanimously found guilty of the offence by a jury on Thursday afternoon, who deliberated for two and a half hours.
Hadikin left the Temple Bar on Stopford Road on 3 December last year following an altercation and returned armed with a knife, the Royal Court heard this week.
During the four-day trial, the court also heard that Hadikin’s victim spent nearly two months in hospital after the attack.
The defendant is due to be sentenced on 31 October.
