Traitor banished as another recruited in final week of the game

Original traitor Minah has been banished from the BBC psychological competition, while politics student Freddie was recruited days before the final.

The episode saw suspicions around faithful Freddie and traitor Minah grow, but ultimately it was Minah who was betrayed by her fellow traitor Charlotte and voted out of the game as the other contestants rejoiced at their success.

Charlotte, who has been faking a Welsh accent throughout the game, later chose Freddie to become a traitor in the secret hope he will be the next to be banished as contestants suspect a male traitor – given all three traitors banished have been women.

During the episode, the players left the castle to complete a giant game of chess as they topped up the prize money pot to £64,500 and saw Leanne awarded a secret shield protecting her from the final murder of the competition.

After the roundtable, Leanne told Jake, Frankie and Charlotte that she had the shield.

Using the information to her advantage, Charlotte attempted to convince Freddie to murder Leanne, thereby implicating himself or Alexander as the only two who did not know she had a shield.

“I’ve gone to the dark side now.”

The episode began with the murder of Joe who the traitors described as a “loud voice” at roundtables.
