SCRUM-HALF Joel Dudley will captain Jersey Reds with a number 10 shirt on his back tomorrow as the Caesarean ‘underdogs’ look to extend their eight-year unbeaten Siam Cup run.

Coach Myles Landick, in sole charge of the club’s first XV for the first time, says his side are not the favourites for the showpiece clash at St Peter, despite calling on three professionals. Two amateurs with junior international experience are also included.

Championship forwards Nick Selway and James Voss start at hooker and openside respectively, while England Students cap Will Kaye and former All Blacks junior Karl Haitana will also be aiming to deny Guernsey Raiders their first victory since 2008.

‘We’re definitely the underdogs this year, definitely,’ said Landick.
