King, the one-cap All Black, had a hand in two of Jersey’s four tries and marshalled the defence well in a performance that oozed class.
‘Regan has been brilliant for us this year; he has brought the connection between the backs and the forwards, which has been a big thing for us,’ said Haining, who was unable to add to his tally of three tries on his last three visits to Headingley.
‘He’s just a massive presence, isn’t he? I am learning so much from him.’
