The 16-year-old has been offered a two-year academy scholarship with the League 2 club following recommendations from coaches at Arsenal, who had the Capita Centre of Excellence product on trial last week.
Injury prevented Sundby from playing for The Gunners on Saturday, but they have vowed to keep tabs on the U16 Muratti cap as he bids to break into Mansfield’s professional squad. He will fight for a place in the U18 squad this season as they continue their efforts in the EFL Youth Alliance North East Division.
