BOURNEMOUTH striker Brett Pitman has been named in Fifa 15 Ultimate Team’s team of the week, in recognition of his recent real-life hot-streak.

The Jerseyman’s Championship hat-trick against Blackpool 11 days ago, among other excellent performances, helped propel him into the spotlight and now the globe’s premier sports video-game franchise, EA Sports, has acknowledged his good form.

Each week, Fifa Ultimate Team assembles the best players from international and club competition around the world – and Pitman has been named on the bench. Included in the 18-man squad are Michael Carrick, Christian Benteke, Aaron Ramsey, David Villa and Bayern Munich’s David Alaba.

Pitman scored a hat-trick against Blackpool two weeks ago. He has scored six goals in the last four games

The collection of players is available to challenge in Ultimate Team, within the Fifa 15 video-game.
