Farmers create history with Upton win at KGV

But led by young all-rounders Rhys Palmer and Ben Kynman, newcomers to the full Jersey team, Farmers squeezed out 184 and proceeded to dismiss Miton for 127.

Miton started well enough and were 37 for nought at one stage, before a collapse prompted by the fall of Lucas Barker, caught at the wicket for 15.

As the middle-order fell away cheaply, Tom Kimber desperately tried to right the ship and top scored with 29, but when he was eighth out caught and bowled Farmers soon finished things off. Palmer was man of the match for his 73 runs and three wickets for 35.
