WATCH: Teacher raps about UK election

Christian ‘Muzzy’ Foley, a former Victoria College pupil who now works as a teacher in London, has made a video to express his concerns over inequality within society ahead of the Thursday’s general election.

The 25-year-old, who said he dressed in a tweed jacket and tie to look like Jeremy Corbyn, has previously received praise from world-famous rapper 50 Cent after rapping to his English class.

Mr Foley said that he wrote the rap – which has been viewed more than 3,500 times on Facebook – to express his concerns about UK politics.

He said: ‘I made the video because I feel that artists have a responsibility to contribute to political discussion, particularly when there is so much at stake,’ he said.

‘It is entertaining, but behind the comedy there are serious points that address the inequality within our society.

‘My main concern with British politics is the increasing divide. There is no middle ground, as both the major parties move further away from each other.’
