A total of four of the animals were caught in the fine nylon net above Bonne Nuit Bay.
One hedgehog was so badly injured it had to be put to sleep while another suffered a severely damaged leg, which may have to be amputated.
The other two were unharmed.
Dru Burdon, of the Jersey Hedgehog Preservation Group, said: ‘All four were adult males – four lovely big boys. And now one is dead and one will never be able to be released into the wild again.
‘It is such a crying shame. The net can’t have been dropped by accident – it must have been dumped deliberately.’
