Approval granted for revised Le Squez plans

Deputy Steve Luce’s decision on the Le Squez plans comes after developer Andium Homes, the organisation that administers the States housing stock, faced opposition from nearby residents on Sarina Road who claimed the scheme would lead to loss of light and privacy.

Plans for 154 homes were approved by the Planning Committee in July 2015 but Deputy Luce cancelled the application following an appeal which was upheld by an independent UK planning inspector.

Andium later altered its proposals for the site – reducing the number of homes on the site to 151 – and this scheme was given the green light by the Planning Committee last October.
