The Infrastructure Department have announced plans to build a raised ‘boardwalk’ over the French Harbour near the old La Folie Inn as well as a cycle and walking path past the English Harbour near Commercial Buildings.
Areas near both harbours are the only sections along the 4.5 mile route which do not have pedestrian or cycle paths.
The department are inviting members of the public to visit the French Harbour tomorrow to see the plans between 4 pm and 6 pm.
Information boards will be available to view and officers on hand to answer questions.
