Molly Happer (18) says friends are reluctant to visit her at her family home in La Pouquelaye because of fears their cars will also be targeted.
The States police have received around 30 reports of damage to vehicles in the area in the recent months.
Officers believe ‘one or two’ residents who are angry about parking problems are responsible. It is understood that some residents have clashed over designated parking spots and commercial vehicles taking up large areas of space.
Miss Happer, a student at Hautlieu, said her family and neighbours, who all live on Le Hurel near the Centre Point Trust, have installed cameras on their homes to try to catch those responsible. She has even considered camping in her car overnight.
Anyone with any information is urged to contact the police on 612612 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
