Pudsey Bear heads for the bus station and the wildlife park

From bake-offs and fancy dress-down days to live performances and trips to Durrell wildlife park, people of all ages joined in the fun ahead of the annual television show last night.

Since forming in 1980, the annual fundraiser has raised more than £80 million for disadvantaged children all over the world.

Mascot Pudsey Bear took a trip to Durrell to meet the wildlife park’s Andean bear trio and spent time with more than 40 children from the Cheeky Monkey Nursery.
