Fuzzie, a 2½-foot-long ball python, escaped from his enclosure and his owner Fabio Moura believes he may have made his way onto the streets near his home by Best One Stores on the Inner Road.
Mr Moura appealed to Islanders on Facebook yesterday to help him track down his slippery sidekick, which is native to sub-Saharan Africa, as he fears he may not survive the current cold nights.
And although the python poses no threat to humans, the same cannot be said for the Island’s mouse population.
