Ready, steady, peel

The event, which is run by the National Trust for Jersey, will see volunteers peeling, stirring and filling jars with the preserve – which is made of cider, apples and spices.

Tonight homemade bean crock and other refreshments will be on offer and live entertainment will be provided by the Jersey Ukulele Band.

Tomorrow, the courtyard at The Elms will be filled with stalls selling Genuine Jersey produce.
