Are speed and sea views to blame for crashes out west?

Last week a 4×4 flipped onto its roof in a crash on Jubilee Hill – a 40 mph stretch of road leading from St Peter’s village down into the bay.

No other vehicles were involved and the driver was uninjured.

And last month a young woman escaped injury after her Fiat 500 was left upside down at the bottom of the road, while in 2013 a motorist was also unhurt when their Toyota flipped onto its side after crashing into a bank.

There have been several other minor accidents on the road.
