Officers say they want to speak to the man following an alleged attack on a 42-year-old woman near Minden Place at around 1.35 am on Monday 1 August.
An image of the man, who appears to have dark hair and is wearing a white jumper, has been uploaded to the Caught on Camera section of the States police website.
Anyone who has information about the incident in August or any other alleged crimes listed on the site should contact the police on 612612 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111. Alternatively reports can be made anonymously via the Caught on Camera section on the States police website – jersey.police.uk.
