Jersey Water, which has its water treatment works at the reservoir in St Lawrence, is planning to hold a guided-tour of the complex at the end of the month.
After posting an advertisement for the event on social media, the firm has been criticised, with some members of the public calling for the tour, which is due to raise funds for Diabetes Jersey, to be cancelled.
Mr Lynch’s body was recovered from the reservoir after workers discovered partially submerged remains on Thursday 4 August – eight months after he vanished following a work Christmas party. The police are not treating his death as suspicious.
