Organiser Caroline Strachan said ticket sales for this weekend’s Big Gig and Legend in the Park shows are up on last year, but that there would be some available on the gate.
The Human League, most famous for their number one single Don’t You Want Me, will headline the Friday night show, with support from the likes of Billy Ocean and Marc Almond.
And Islanders are being asked to contribute to the ‘party atmosphere’ by sending their song requests to be played in between the acts as UK DJ John McHenry will be taking to the stage during the Legend in the Park show to create an 80s-themed party.
