Businessman and former hotel owner Harry Lingard has submitted a planning application to redevelop Jardin de La Rocque on Mont de la Rocque, with a project which he says will ‘finish off’ the area, where other new homes are being built.
Mr Lingard is also responsible for another nearby project to redevelop the site of the former Hotel La Tour, and his latest plans describe Jardin de La Rocque as a two-storey building that is generally in poor condition exhibiting signs of structural fatigue and in need of major restoration, and the proposed development would create four two-bedroom apartments overlooking the bay, as well as parking for eight cars.
Mr Lingard said that if his plans were approved he would begin the building project straight away
