The hotel closed its doors last summer and developer Dandara, which now owns the Rue à Don plot, has submitted plans to build 18 apartments, seven cottages and 66 parking spaces on the land.
The company has also recently redeveloped the nearby Jersey Pottery site into 44 houses and 18 apartments.
Dandara’s latest plans also follow proposals to redevelop several other hotels in the Island – the developer wants to demolish the Metropole Hotel in order to build apartments, while the Shakespeare Hotel is also due to be demolished after plans to build 14 apartments and three houses at the site were approved in December.
