Owner sought as dog attack generates vet’s bill of £2,338

Leanda Guy thought her lurcher Prada had escaped unharmed in spite of the ferocity of the attack which happened at Jardin d’Olivet on 20 November.

But three days later the ten-year-old dog was diagnosed with septicaemia and required two life-saving operations, leaving Miss Guy with a £2,338 vet’s bill.

She has pet insurance but has had to pay £600 excess – and the insurers are asking for details of the other party to process her claim.
