Kevin McCormack (41) and Anna Crellin (36), both from London, were arrested after Customs officers found 30 kg of the class B drug inside a vehicle following a ferry crossing from Poole last Friday. They were later charged with the importation of cannabis and appeared in the Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
The pair, who were remanded into custody, are due to appear in court again on 11 January, ahead of their formal committal to the Royal Court on 25 January.
