The Hautlieu student (15) queued overnight to get his hands on the limited edition Adidas shoes that rap star Kanye West has put his name to.
He bought the Yeezy Boost 350s for £150, before selling them online days later for £650.
Sol, who originally planned to keep the shoes, said: ‘I put up a price of £650, not thinking much of it, and I didn’t really think anyone would buy them.’
The St Peter resident queued for 16½ hours from 4.30 pm on Friday 13 November to 9 am the following day to buy the shoes.
But he did not need to, as he had already won a raffle with Roulette Clothing, which was selling the shoes, guaranteeing him a pair before everybody else.
‘I was staying with a friend who was also buying them, so I decided to wait with him anyway,’ he added.
Twenty-six stores across Britain were given permission to sell the trainers, with each one attracting long queues.
