Sir Edward Heath, who was a Conservative Prime Minister between 1970 and 1974, has been named by the States Police as being part of their ongoing operation codenamed Operation Whistle.
It was reported in the national news this week that the police were appealing for alleged victims of Sir Edward to come forward, after a retired officer claimed that Wiltshire police aborted a criminal investigation in the 1990s.
Today, the States police confirmed Sir Edward also featured in their own investigations.
