It is thought a red vehicle travelling along the road from the direction of St Aubin towards the direction of Red Houses has hit the wall sometime between 11 pm and 11.10 pm on Saturday.
The granite wall was damaged after the bend by Mont Arthur outside a premises called Maison May and transfers of red paint were left on the wall.
